Objectives
At the end of this course, Participants should be able to
■ Use various IT productivity tools for financial modeling
■ Effectively use MS Excel tools and utilities such as PivotTables, Goal-Seek, Scenario Manager, LookUps, etc in their daily financial and accounting functions
■ Apply Excel tools to build financial models
■ Develop skills in using Macros to record their work

■ Overview of electronic spreadsheet
■ Excel workbook environment
■ Proficiency skills: Filling the knowledge GAP
■ Formula construction and multiple worksheets
■ Tables and graphs
■ Data referencing and Analysis – Sorting, Filtering, Advanced Filtering techniques, Creating input formats, etc
■ Pivot Tables and Goal-seek functions
■ Scenarios and What-IF analysis
■ Recording your work with excel MACRO recorder
Module 4
Hands-on Application In:
■ Cash flow statement models
■ Budget preparation and Analysis models
■ Monthly/Quarterly financial regulatory reporting models in financial institutions
■ Business forecasting models/ ratios models.

This course is designed for Accountants , controllers, finance personnel, admin officers, auditors, investment analysts, training officers etc

The fee is N63,000 per participant. This fee covers tuition, course folios, materials, tea/coffee break, lunch and computer rentals. Participants may also come with their laptops.
